René Bickel's Vaccination: The Great Illusion illustrates just how farcical the pharmaceutical industry's spin about vaccines actually is. If we can apply Dr. James' quotation as allegory, Bickel's superbly illustrated book about the history of vaccines and vaccinations 'dances' and even 'rocks'. Cartoonist René Bickel's ingenious use of humorous illustrations makes translating Big Pharma's stories about vaccines surprisingly funny, if not just plain common sense. I am very pleased to have been asked to be the consultant for the English translation of this French artist's exceptional depiction, via art and humor, of one of the more seriously-flawed medical and supposed preventive healthcare measures of modem times, in my opinion as a consumer health researcher and author.
